Public Transport
The Strandhotel can be easily reached with public transport. We therefore recommend you leave your car at home. Especially in high season this could save you a lot of hassle with parking and traffic jams.
From train station Den Haag Centraal, you take tramline 9 to Scheveningen Noorderstrand
From train station Den Haag Hollands Spoor , you take tramline 1 or 9 to Scheveningen Noorderstrand
With all these lines you travel to the last stop called “Zwartepad”. From this stop it is a less than 1 minute walk to the Strandhotel.

By car from Utrecht/Rotterdam
From node “Prins Clausplein” u follow the road “signs Den Haag – A12”.
On the A12, start following the road signs “Scheveningen-Bad”.
When the highway terminates, you keep right. At the traffic light, you turn right onto the “Benoordenhoutseweg”.
At the next traffic light, you turn left onto the “van Alkemadelaan”.
After about 3km, the “van Alkemadelaan turns into the “Zwolsestraat”. Keep following this street.
At the end of the “Zwolsestraat” (at the traffic lights next to the bilderberg “Europahotel”) you cross the intersection and go straight up to the “Zeekant”.
The “Zeekant bends to the right, and at the end of the “Zeekant”, you will find the Strandhotel on your right hand side.

By car from Amsterdam/Leiden
Follow the A44.
Near Wassenaar, this highway turns into the N44 (Rijksstraatweg).
At the exit “Leidschendam/Voorburg” u keep right, and follow the road sign “Scheveningen, landscheidingsweg/N14”
Just before the entrance of the “Hubertustunnel” you take the exit and cross the roundabout.
At the traffic light, you turn right onto the “van Alkemadelaan”.
After about 1,5 km, the “van Alkemadelaan turns into the “Zwolsestraat”. Keep following this street.
At the end of the “Zwolsestraat” (at the traffic lights next to the bilderberg “Europahotel”) you cross the intersection and go straight up to the “Zeekant”.
The “Zeekant bends to the right, and at the end of the “Zeekant”, you will find the Strandhotel on your right hand side.
